RLAs

Here on 1C2C1D we have four RLAs! Though the RLAs live on different sub-halls, they operate as one team to support all of our residents. You will see all four of your RLAs taking check, overseeing housekeeping, and supporting you through residential life! 

Deepthi Selvaraj

hi! my name's deepthi selvaraj and i'm from concord, nc. i'm one of your 4 rla's on 1c2c1d ◡̈ i'm living on 1d in room 103 and i'm so excited to be back on hall this year! look forward to hearing lots of music, seeing me around school w my friends doing goofy stuff, and most importantly making you feel welcome on hall! i love sanrio, listening to music (everything and anything that's good), and spending time with my friends and family. i can't wait to meet everyone and have an amazing school year ◡̈

Valentina Kimes

I am Valentina Kimes and I am from Mount Olive, NC. I’m really into movies, health, and philosophy! I love exploring Durham and the Triangle’s music scene! I am stoked to be on 2C this year and can’t wait to meet everyone!

Taylor Ellis

Hi! My name is Taylor Ellis and I am one of the RLAs on 1C2C1D! I enjoy playing volleyball, dancing, singing, and hanging out with my friends! I love listening to music with some of my favorite artists being SZA, Wave To Earth, Faye Webster, and Tyler, The Creator. I also love watching animé, which some of my favorites are Haikyu!!, One Piece, Assassination Classroom, and Mob Psycho. I can't wait to meet all of y'all this year!!

Sophia Koehler

Hi! My name is Sophia Koehler. I am from Greensboro. I’ll be an RLA on 1C2C1D. I’ll be living on 2C with my amazing and gorgeous roommate Felicity Lipchak. My favorite thing to do on campus is play badminton or awful tennis at the tennis courts, pickleball is coming to campus so maybe you'll see me playing that too🧐. Chinese is by far the best class on campus (and my favorite). You’ll see me on the swim team this year, you should def join :) I am also a captain in Ethics Bowl 😋. Can’t wait to see you guys!
